8th International MEHSA Reunion 2015

MEHSA International Reunion (2015)

The 6th MEHSA International Reunion was successfully held on 5th January, 2013 at the Assembly Hall of Methodist English High School, Yangon. During the reunion dinner on 6th January, the attendees were requested to vote in order to choose the venue for another International reunion, proposed to be held within the next few years. More than 80% of the attendees voted Myanmar as the forthcoming reunion place. As a result, the Master of Ceremony officially announced that the 8th MEHSA International Reunion will be organized and held in Yangon in 2015. (The 7th International Reunion is the next reunion taking place in Hawaii within 2014). The senior alumni who are residing abroad prefer to visit Myanmar while they are in good health and able to travel. They have a keen interest to meet with old friends of school days and to look around the old school with sentimental feelings.

The MEHSA International Reunion planners unanimously agreed that the most suitable time to hold the Reunion is within January, 2015 because it is convenient in terms of weather for the alumni from abroad and appropriate in time for the planners to organize reunion activities in early 2015, since the nationwide general election will take place in end 2015.
